Magnus Lundgren is an Executive Business Manager and global leader with strong focus on leadership enhancement, organizational development and transformation as well as TCO (Total Cost of Ownership), P/L margin expansion and cash management. Expertise within business management, manufacturing, supply chain and procurement as well as Shared Services and Purchase-To-Payment (P2P) solutions. He has worked +20 years at global Healthcare/Pharma/Life Sciences, CPG and Petrochemical companies, with focus on Strategic Procurement plus Supply Chain Management and R&D.
He is currently CPO, Senior Vice President Procurement at Fresenius Medical Care North America, a global leading provider of products and services for people with chronic kidney failure, where he is responsible for companywide expenditures of $6B, their A/P Cash Program and Requisition-To-Pay implementation. He is also leading their transformation of regional to global procurement.
He was previously the Chief Procurement Officer at Hospira (generic sterile injectables, biosimilars and medical devices) responsible for global procurement ($2.5B spend and +115 people), during a year of change leading up to the Pfizer acquisition integration. Prior to that he spent 6 years with GE Healthcare as Global Sourcing Executive (biosciences, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and invitro diagnostics) managing $1B spend. He has lived and worked in 5 countries across WE and USA.
Magnus holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden.
He currently lives with his family in the Boston area, United States.
